This AC is based on the very nice Bf109G2 that was made by Illu.
It now includes new pilots based on Pob's 3d pilot figure and included in the original from Illu. I'm not sure that I have actually implemented it to it's best advantage, but they do look good anyway.

Thanks go to Roel 'VonBeer' Bartels for his rapid response to my need for a non rotating spinner for some of these AC. It allowed me to get them 'out'.

I have completely repainted the bodywork based on Hi Rez plans for the G2

BF 109 G2 "Green1" Flown in the Kuban peninsula area of Russia in early/mid 1943 by Col. Hermann Graf who ended the war as Kommandeur of JG52. He was to go on to be the ninth highest scoring fighter ace of the Luftwaffe with a tally of 212 conquests which included 10 US 'heavies'.
After the war ended and the Nazis capitulated, Graf was 'given' to the Russians who kept him in prison after the war, it wasn't until 1950 that he would see Germany again. His story is a truly interesting one and I urge anyone who is interested to read about him.

Thanks, once again, go to Doc_1 for his highly accurate information and even better his endless supply of photographic reference material, and also his endless encouragement.

Pls Enjoy.
